Old Time Plowing

and Heritage Celebration

The Cradle of Forestry Historic Site will open its doors with a celebration of forest heritage. Weather permitting, the Burnett family's horse team will plow the Cradle's garden to prepare it for the 2009 season. This event will allow you to let your imagination take you back to simpler days as you watch traditional crafters weave, spin, cook on the hearth, forge metal, carve wood, and demonstrate the uses of old-time tools.

General Admission to the site is $5.00 for adults (16 years of age and older) and free for youth (15 years of age and under). Golden Eagle Passports and America the Beautiful passes are honored.
