Help us build our new Citizen Science Lab!

Coming spring of 2020, the Cradle of Forestry will have a new interactive experience for students of all ages. Thanks to a grant from the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, we’ll be updating our exhibit hall to include a Citizen Science Lab to introduce younger minds to science-based concepts, forest management techniques and regional scientific research. But that’s just the beginning! Your generous contribution will provide critical support to the Cradle’s mission of conservation education for everyone by providing funding for future exhibit updates as well. Use the “Donate” button below and help shape our exhibits at the Cradle of Forestry!  Read More about being a Citizen Science Lab Sponsor.

The Cradle of Forestry is operated by the Cradle of Forestry in America Interpretive Association and is tax exempt under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are fulfilling our mission– to promote educational, recreational, and interpretive opportunities about forest and water resources, natural history, and the Cradle of Forestry in America – and welcome your contribution to build on our success.
