The Cradle is excited to have Pretty Little Goat String Band bring their lively energy to the Cradle.
Born the spring of 2014, the Brevard based Pretty Little Goat string band delivers an energetic, dynamic and fresh take on old-time music around western North Carolina. This group of young musicians combine their passion for fiddle tunes and quirky old songs with fine musicianship to create a fun, foot tapping musical adventure.
Josh Carter brings great chord work, rhythm and punchy lead mandolin lines along with his passionate voice. Owen Grooms’ driving, plunky banjo adds layers of sound and rhythm. Tim Fisher brings improvisational ability and enthusiasm to his fiddling. Along with her lead and harmony vocals, Mallory Carter adds percussion with her creativity on the washboard. JT Linville holds the whole thing together with his tasteful bass lines.
