The Cradle is happy to be open and able to provide visitors Access to walking and hiking our 3 miles of interpretative trails during phase 1 of our Reopening. In this phase,
we are open Wednesdays through Saturdays 10am to 4pm and have clean bathrooms.
Stay tuned as we move to future phases of reopening and are able to offer our visitors access to the exhibit hall and cafe once again!

School Field Trips with 2 options & Biltmore Forest School’s Group Programs
Focusing on science, social studies, forestry and living history, the Cradle of Forestry correlates programs to N.C. state curriculum standards and U.S. Forest Service guidelines. Each program provides an exciting hands-on activity that is educational and in an outdoor setting. Trained educators will help you “Sow Seeds of Stewardship” while accomplishing your teaching goals.

Your purchase helps support the educational programming and operation of the Cradle of Forestry in America.
